The ZZ Championship (ZZČ, zzčē, zzčempīts) is the year’s biggest and most anticipated event among Latvia’s school kids, and has been organised for the past 11 years by Zelta Zivtiņa. Grade 1-12 pupils receive a challenge testing their physical abilities, courage and tenacity, along with their erudition, resourcefulness, team spirit and creativity. In the 2017 championship, the first ever digital semi-final was organised.
